And so research and development has always been a major component of CIRONS operations. With an independent R&D department maintained by qualified chemists CIRON reaches the highest level quality in a range of research efforts, ranging from the development of new applications for existing products to upgrading formulation efficacy and improving drug delivery systems.

A Microbiological Laboratory well equipped with the most modern facilities, to conduct routine and in-depth microbiological testing, to establish product protocols and to validate sterilization processes is one of CIRON’S strength. In-depth tests are performed to assess raw materials, bulk drugs and finished formulations. In addition to this there is an on-going microbiological monitoring of working procedures in process areas and microbiological analysis on products.

Promising opportunities for medical advances will soon be further explored in a well-equipped R & D Laboratory being developed by CIRON. The new laboratory's services will also be extended to offer research on a contract basis.
